Detroit Tigers baseball and other nonsense
I’ve been told that moments after I was born, my father made the following proclamation:
“I haven’t been this happy since the Tigers won the World Series in ’68!”
I don’t remember it, of course. I’m not even sure what teams were playing when I attended my first ballgame. All I know is that over the years I inherited the baseball bug, so here we are.
Here you will find my musings on the Tigers, and baseball in general. There are a lot of photos; the bulk of them taken by yours truly. I currently live in south Texas and hold partial season tickets to the San Antonio Missions, which keeps me sane. Living 3 hours from the nearest MLB park is rough, folks.
I am an unapologetic Brandon Inge fan. I don’t care if you hate him, or why.
You can find some of my other work (troll wrangling, news posting, etc) over at Bless You Boys.
“Baseball is a lot like life. It’s a day-to-day existence, full of ups and downs. You make the most of your opportunities in baseball as you do in life.” – Ernie Harwell
